CHILDREN’S MUSEUM BONAIRE SURVEY

Children’s Museum Curaçao is an interactive children’s museum that offers children the opportunity to develop themselves through playful learning. The Children’s Museum has been open since 2017 and has already received more than 50,000 visitors.

Our visitors from our sister island Bonaire regularly ask about a Children’s Museum in Bonaire. Based on a formal request, we want to investigate the possibilities for setting up a Children’s Museum in Bonaire too.

The Children’s Museum aims to stimulate the complete development of the child but is mainly focused on 21st-century skills such as planning & organizing, problem-solving thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Entrepreneurs have many of these skills, but even if you work in a team, they are essential. With the Children’s Museum, we invest in the entrepreneur of the future.

The starting point is that it will be a unique children’s museum for Bonaire that responds to the needs of the local community and is financially feasible. That is why we are researching the current range of education, cultural and recreational activities on Bonaire. This allows us to investigate which concept is feasible for the Bonaire Children’s Museum. We would like to hear from you which offer you are using and what would you most like to see added. This allows us to investigate what options there are to merge into the concept of the Children’s Museum Bonaire.
