Vacation Camp February 2023 – It’s All About STEAM!

Every vacation we offer a vacation camp from 7.30 to 12.30. Children will learn and experiment during vacation camp at the Children’s Museum by doing super cool activities.

Did you know we celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11th ? Even though there is a shortage of skills in most technological fields, women still account for only 28% of engineering graduates and 40% of graduates in computer science and informatics. Science gives learners an in-depth understanding of the world around them. It helps them to become better at research and critical thinking. STEM education fosters creativity as well and it motivates and inspires young learners to generate new technologies and ideas. So, you see how important it is to pay extra attention to STEM education aimed at boys and girls. And the more reasons to highlight this topic during our vacation camp in February but also during the whole month of February with our regular programming at the Children’s Museum Curacao. To make it even more fun we added the A of art to the program. Don’t miss out on brand new STEAM activities during this February vacation camp.
