Below you will find the structure of the school visit, the costs and how to make a booking. We hope that you and your class will have a lot of fun learning and playing during your visit to the museum!
We would like to invite your school to visit Children’s Museum Curaçao.
Visit the museum with your class
During the museum visit, you and your students will experience over 2 hours of playful learning in the various exhibition spaces in the museum. Each of the 10 different indoor and outdoor spaces contains elements that correspond to the core objectives of Basic Education. Some components directly relate to arithmetic, language, history, but art subjects such as dance, music and visual arts are also represented. The exhibitions also contribute to the development of 21st century skills, both creative, social-emotional and physical.

8.15 – 8.30: Reception at the museum

- Group is divided into four
- 1 adult per 5 children
8.30 – 11.00: Playful learning!
- Groups rotate between different rooms
- 9.30 – 10.00 break
11.00: Departure of the group

Preparation
It is helpful if you divide the group into four groups in advance. You know best which children do and do not get along well together. A tip: children can wear a coloured badge or a coloured shirt so that the groups are clear.
For the break, children can bring their own snack and drink. Keep in mind that extra water (e.g. in a jug) is desirable.
Children can get dirty – especially when playing outside. Take this into account when choosing clothing. For example, sportswear and comfortable shoes are nice.
