On September 22nd we celebrate First Day of Autumn

Curacao is an island in the tropics and experiences only two seasons but in other parts of the world countries have four seasons. Children’s Museum Curaçao wants local children to gain more understanding about the difference between seasons in a fun and interactive way.

Come celebrate the First Day of Autumn on September 22rd and see how our own tree in the Starry Night exhibit has changed colours and leaves.

Come to the Creative Lab for leaves stamping and making on special watercolor paper

3 – 4 PM | Apple Themed Science Activities

Autumn is famous for being the apple season. We encourage children to think like scientists while they observe, examine and explore different cool apple themed science activities. Like making apple-cano’s and why do apples turn brown?  Using real apples adds a wonderful sensory component to each activity.
